Wish me luck!

Tomorrow morning will be first try on a new treatment for my knees (Remicade).

Now, the good thing is that if it works, I should be able to live a painless life (surgery is still a go to fix the damage to the bones).

The down side is that it might not work at all and even worse there can be some pretty serious side effects to the drug.

So, wish me luck!

Good luck mate, and if it does work be sure to take as many precautions as you can to prevent yourself getting infections and the like because of the immunosuppressant side of Infliximab.

I've gotten shots against pretty much anything in the past few weeks, so if it isn't anything exotic, I should be ok.

I take it the trip to Bangkok is out, then?

In all seriousness, good luck with the treatment, hope it works for you.

Just got home, gah, 4 hours of boredom! Not even telly in the goddamn room! But no worries, had my Das Boot with me and passed tiem reading it.

No complications during the treatment and knees feel very good (but that's propably because of the painkiller I took in the morning). Interested to see how they are tomorrow morning.

Wow been away for a long time, not a nice thing to find from an old colleague and fellow GWX beta tester. Still I am hopeful for you and wish you the best of luck Dowly.

I broke my ankle back in November 2008 and had to submit to surgery and then nearly 4 months of crutches and physiotherapy. Lesson, do not bicycle the first frosty night of the year. Nice to see some other familiar faces here too.

Anyway get better soon.
