This thread serves as a little 'tribute' to the days when all we (J8A Heroes/SubSim Aviators) were still practising and werent that good flyers.

Firstly, my history of online flying prior to IL2 with Hunter & Danlisa. (Other's pleeease tell your flightsim online history too! I'd really like to know)

For me, I started my online flying as an Battlefield 2 fighter pilot:

And then, it was time to hit the online skies with IL2. I've owned the game since it the very first 'IL2 Sturmovik', but never tried it online, until I met Hunter & Danlisa. Here's some old vids from our dogfights.

Of course it is, so is tons of other vids. I only gathered the oldest vids, when our dogfights were won by the amount of booze & some luck.

I did go up on the 109s vs Spits server the other day...and once again lasted about five minutes in the air before someone got on my tail and blasted me to bits

Only crashed once on take-off though!!
