Default Those evil Frenchies!

Brest
U-517 to OBU
Admiral I wish to have the lout chief torpedoman charged with treason he found a stash of what can only be called a vile substance and a threat to the valient German War effort a plant by the criminals of those damm Degaullists. As we left port and cleared harbor I allowed the men to toast out future success after the eveing meal. The chief unknown to me broke out bottles of a substance called Absinthe! Soon the men were saying the vessel was plauged by "green fairies" who would spell our doom, the junior ensign yelled they were coming from a vessel spotted 3 degrees of the port and yelled loss all tubes!. Soon all forward tubes were streaking toward a German destoyer..... I regret to inform the Admiral of the loss of one destroyer.
Will be returning to port and awaiting your judgement,,, I hear for a tug its a Iron Cross I expect no less the the First Class.
