J8A Heroes Get Together Event!

Last night, me & Hunter gave the good ol' Gladiator a fly and remembered how we started playing IL2 and our first squadron, the J8A Heroes.

So, we had a brief talk on how nice it would be to get together again with original members of the squadron (and everyone who has the interest), have a few beers and let the Gladiator do the talking, just like back then.

Danlisa, get your copy installed, grab a case of beer or JD or anything and let's show them people what few drunk nutjobs with a Gladiators can do.

Ok, people, when would we do this then? Of course, weekend would be the best, but which one? The upcoming weekend might be a bit busy for the pilots who are part of the GWX team due to the 16th public release, but what do you think Dan? Would we be able to squeeze out few hours for IL2?

I hope we can get as many pilots as we can, I'm pretty sure Miki & Kepe will come if I just ask them, that would make 4 + Dan, Kratos, XabbaRus(?). 7 Gladiators duking it out, sound nice. :hmm:

Me thinks it's time to open mi skin shop again.

Edit: Oh and we HAVE to make simultaneous take off, that would look nice.

Saturday should be good for me. Sunday, probably not.

LOL, I won't promise any singing though.

How are going to do a simulataneous take off? The runway isn't wide enough. Don't you remember what happened last time just 3 of us tried it.:rotfl:

Yeh, Saturday's fine for me.

As for the take off, we can make a column of 1 plane in the head, then two side-by-side following it.

Yep, was good fun (crazy bunch we are)

hehehe, never had about 7 people in my own hosted server was nice to experience a FFA dogfight with that

next time we need to try this amount of people in our campaign..

Well actually, i thought tonight was going to be a J8a campaign wasn't expecting a free for all dogfight..but hey it was fun.........

I hadnt the FFA planned but I thought , why not

that was the reason I eddited the mountain map quikly

the CO-OP mission is not complete yet so , wasnt really into launching a half done mission . still need to edit the russian aircrafts and add some AI friendly's.

anyway thats for I guess for the next J8A event
