Dumb question but, where did my sunk ship marker go?

Play GWX after being a way for year (and great expansion btw, almost shouldn't call it an expansion as it's a whole new game

) and seems I've forgotten a few things. But one thing I can't find is where the little sunken ship markers you used to get on the map have gone. Is it the GWX or have I turned something off?

Don't want any other markers/help.. just like to see my trail of destruction.
