You can fly any plane that's available in the mission, even enemy if you want to. At least in the first sorties there were several Stukas available, even if we all flew 109s

Normally both types are present in the missions (normally, not always).

In the last sortie I got 2 Poles and Oberon rammed me (no big deal by the way).
At the end of the transfer mission I shot down three of them.

So you are our first ace then, congratulations! I only looked at the end score for the second sortie(yours was -100), and thought that meant one friendly kill and nothing else.

Anyway, the 2nd Sortie also had some 111s, though I wouldn't have recommended flying those...

I rather be in a HE111 then in a Stuka flying against those P11's
the first sortie I saw some stuka going up in flames by those buggers.

anyhow, like mentioned above by Fincuan, you are freely to choose any aircraft that is listed before each sortie..
wish the BF110 was available, then those P11 where into a nasty surprise...hehehe

Gah, nonsense! The german bombers in IL2 are superb in hitting accuracy to any other. I did a test months ago, bombing an aircraft carrier and the bomb hit the spot I aimed at pretty much center on every 5 runs.

Lucky bastard, I chased 2 Poles, damaged both, then some (obviously) drunk Pole crashed into my cockpit from nowhere.

You get -300 for a friendly single engined fighter.
