Getting back on topic .
Desperately trying to finish NWA by the deadline . The weather was terrible most of the time and i couldnt find any targets . Only now towards the end of the alloted time to finish NWA has the weather cleared and i have found targets and was able to attack some small convoys . OW mission has appeared and i only have until Apr 11 to finish that one .

Here, snowing is a rare happening in the urban center (once or twice every 20 years), but it is relatively common (though for only few days almost every year) on the mountains surroinding Palermo.

Now you can imagine how odd is for me seeing, during SH5's winters, the Mediterranean basin covered in snow even at the sea level. Time to rectify this unprevented glaciation that devs wanted us to experience. Thanks to Pintea, by now I've all the knowledge I need to fix this aspect

Can someone pls help me. Ive downloaded JSGME, downloaded OH2, activated the mod, game is updated to 1.2 but when I enter the game the game seems to be original, only runs to 1943. What am I doing wrong?

Where have you installed Sh5? have you installed jsgme there also?

Here is my Sh5 and jsgme:-
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS

So - paste OHIIv2 into the MODS floder that jsgme made when you ran it for the first time (from the SH5 folder)
Then install

Did you extract JSGME.exe in the sh5 root folder (sh5/JSGME.exe) and your MODS folder (sh5/MODS)? Also make sure that the mod that you copy to MODS folder includes data folder (and those other folders) straight under mods main folder. Like just for example "MODS/OHII/data", not "MODS/OHII/OHII/data".

Edit. Oh, Trevally was faster, and more clearer!

Does my renown influence the possibility of getting a new, better boat? Or do these only change between campaigns as listed under "default unit"?

Renown is the money of the game and only lets you buy goodies for your boat. New fish and the like.

To get a new boat - there must be one available (date etc) and you must have enough campaign points (hidden value from sinking ships and winning objectives within the campaign).
