Im playing in a VIIC out of Bergen, in middle of 42. I get a radio contact for a convoy and I try to intercept. The problem I have is that they spot me before I spot them. I can't even see their smoke when my sub turns red. I am at noon so my visibility is high.
How should I try and keep tabs on a convoy without being spotted? Anyone got some good advice? This is hard! ![]() Darn. I posted in the wrong forum. Any mods around to shuffle me into the right SH3 forum?

Hey bud, you might get a lot more answers if you post this in the SHIII forums and not the off topic section.

By middle 1942 escorts begin to mount radar systems... so they can't detect you before you can see them... You can't attack on surface a convoy escorted with ships with radar...
My advice is, once you have a contact, to maneuver in order to position yourself on the front of the convoy and make the final approach submerged... |
