1) Is there a way to have the weapons officer give you "gods eye" map views on contacts like the stock version? Enemy = red Friendly = blue and Netural = green. Would be nice to have some flexibility for newer players to easy into this wonderful mod.
2) In the ship recoginition pullout when using the periscope the ship names don't appear.... any way of fixing that? Thanks all who can answer these questions and provide help. I have GW 1.1a over the patched 1.4 stock version using SH3 Comm and SH3 weather 1.2 ![]() |

Before you head out on patrol click on the "Change Realism" (found in the briefing of your patrol orders window) and uncheck "No map contact update"
I dont think this gives you the blue/green option of ships but will show ship contacts on the map. Not quite sure using GW, as i have this option checked. The stock game shows everything when unchecked. |

I've got a question as well: I heard that you will be promoted faster when you use GW (for the first promotion you need 1499 instead of 5000 renown). Although I use GW I was promoted to Oberleutnant z.S. after gaining 5000 renown. Now I wonder if it's wrong that you only need 1499 renown or if I encountered an error or a bug. Does anybody know what's going on?
(I have patched the game to 1.4b and use GW and SH3 Commander) |
