Default Cougar HOTAS J-Stick file for SH3?

Hi all,
Has anybody tried to make joystick and macro files for Silent Hunter III so that the game can be controlled with a Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS stick, throttle and pedals?

Did it work OK?

If so can I have the files for it so that I can try using my Cougar?

Does the game support any j-stick axes at all?

Why would it be needed? I have never had a problem with even the sharpest turn By just using the mouse and keyboard. Even under the most difficult conditions. ( under attack etc.)
I my opnion the game just does not move that quickly enough for it to be needed. This is not a first person shooter.

HOTAS for SH3 Are you allright!
Jesus that expensive and immaculate tool is only meant for Falcon 4.0!

Use the Voice-command, if you need any extra control!!

Yeah I thought I would be barking up the wrong tree....I just thought that having the tactile experience that using the Cougar gives you would be good in the game, it might feel more like driving a big heavy sub...It would be good to launch the torps with a trigger, move the scope with a joystick, and speed fore/aft with the throttle..

It's just for fun really. I have a dormant Cougar here that need a game. I do have Falcon 4 but I am next to totally useless with it right now. I can usualy start the engine but that's about it.

I think that making a j-stick file for SHIII would be pretty tricky as everything would be emulating mouse and keyboard characters.

The game doesn't support any j-skick axes does it?
