IUB1.03,How to improve DD'intelligence and level ???

in IUB,DD's level and intelligence,is poorer than SH3 1.4b.
IUB is more beautiful than sh3 1.4b,but the DDs are too despaired

who can solve this problem ???
which files can be included with DD's action???
eg: after DD runinto your head, It turninto left or right only in 400~500m,but in history,DD run away 2000m after attack your sub!!!

and eg, DD can run left or right insymmetrily. where in which files ?
