oh, you think this is another shocking topic or even unappropriate ?

For the unaware, the politically correct and already dhimmified among us I damn' sure hope so !

So, it's been a while since 9/11, Madrid and London (not mentioning SU-ish issues). Does counterterrorism work ?
Well, I am pretty sure it beats doing nothing or wasting time trying to level with the scumbags (not level with bombs that is)

But there is an amazing number of scumbags out there ready to strike, and their number most likely is growing, not in the least because of the ongoing growing division among western people. Yes, that's right: This absence of western unity (due to democracy and liberalism) and erosion of delicate political alliances is definitely not a good thing.

It's like a match between a potentially strong football team against a proven weak team. When the latter is more determined and the former plays mediocre and/or has a couple of indifferent or even scared players, it's bound to lose.

So resolve and unity will bring us victory over the scumbags.

And remember: Who wants to join a winning team ? That's right, best guarantee for peace....

Btw, I saw a videoclip of Blair speaking in Oz (parliament). I agree with him we have to fight for our world with the USA, and not become divided. Dunno about his domestic policy though, but considering threads here, he doesnt seem as popular anymore...

Anyway, spare a moment of your time imagining where and what the next disaster will be. After all, it's only a matter of time, .......or not ? (Then: why not ?)

First of all it is completely futile: whe can only guess but we don't know.
Furthermore, I don't want to live in fear, so I won't think about fear. I guess that's exactly what the Muslim FET's (Fascists/Extremists/Terrorists) want us to do. I don't play the game according to their rules.

the next target will be in france or germany then these two foolish nations will have to wake up and reap the rewards of there constant oposition to the war on terror remeber america was iggnorant to the idea of home based and certainly foreign terroist untill oklahoma and 9/11 although france has had its share of attacks over the years remember this these terroist's have shown more than once they care not who they attack friend or foe alike

It is true that we should try not to live in fear of another attack, and we cannot really guess where a future attack would take place anyway. But if I had to guess, I would guess somewhere in Western Europe (although I couldn't guess exactly what country it would be).

It is also noteworthy that Canada is the only nation of that Osama Bin Ladin 'hit list' that was recovered that has not suffered an attack.

well i dont know about yourelf sky ive been active in the fight against these bastard's i dont wish it on anyone but like i said its gonna take something like that to wake your nations up to the threat they pose insted of complaining about what the u.s and uk do at least you could be pro-active and make sure it dosent happen

p.s and with the way france is at the moment i think they have there hands full contolling their own populas nevermind external threats

You have not fought terror - you have breeded it. there is much more of terror and terroists in the world than before Iraq. And Afghanistan is far from being a won war.

I am am the last to disagree on the need to fight off pure Islam and it's symptoms, terror being one of these. But what is running under the label "war on terror", especially Afghanistan and invading Iraq, has been as counterproductive as a way of going can be. maybe you are not as much aware of the nature of the threat than you think - else you need to explain why today you have more enemies to fight against than since before Iraq. How could that be if you have understood the nature of your enemy so well? Truth is, you are as unknowignly as most europeans, inclduing Germans and French. Only the quality of lacking knowledge is different. Two types of ignorance. Nevertheless one and the same effect - against us. And you, like eurpoeans, still accept a leadership that is in bed with this enemy. While they earn their benefits from that collaboration, guys like you must risk their head for them.

And although it is your only head, it nevertheless doesn't make you think about the questionable circumstances that have brought you to that pass.

Analyzing and critisizing Islam is one thing. Being able to come up with a half decent practical action plan is of a superior level.

I notice your positioning on the WOIT lacks a convincing alternative strategy.

Because I assume you dont have a clue (w.r.t. what our best bet is) just like the rest of us, I suggest we honor our people in the military who are daily laying their balls on the line.
