Setember 17 of 1939

I was about 2 torpedos left in mi Small IIB sub tipe, at mi second patrol, and the results were untill that moment preaty weack, one
J Class destroyer and a Small Merchante making a total of around
3 Ton. this was beeing so far mi worst patrol , ship contacts were in most cases friendly ships and Neutral ships, as is understandable
cause i'm in Setember 17 of 1939, in the begining of hostilities agains Polon and G.Bri., so mi crew was on a desperate race to help me find at least another Cargo or warship stupid enought
to come across our sites!

And it hapend:

Took mi time when spoted this Large cargo, as i knew that if the acuracy of mi 2 torps was bad when fierd would problably lose the chance of returning home with a better Ton score!

He was sailing NW at 6 Nods cause the weather wasn't that good,
Dived to periscope deph around 2 miles from him and traced a paralel cource to him, raised the attack periscope to pick on his movements and prepar mysellf for the kill...At mi surprise he had reduced the speed to 4 Nods, so i speed up paralel to him for around 10 minutes in the game, and started turning on his cource
to make a 90 dgrs. angle on his Hull....reduced mi speed at the slowest 3 nods. and prepared mi torps, 2, and 3 tubes...
...wayted... Observed that heavy iron monster geting closer and ...

fierd torp 2 at 980 meters distance, slightly moved mi direction around one click left and fierd the second torp.....
Explosion first one hit the target at the rear back of his hall right where it's supose to be the Engines room...

The second torpedo hit the target just 8 secondsafter at the same spot just when he was trying to turn away to his right flank...

After that the cheers from mi crew and the feeling of another mission acomplished!

This is a report of mi second patrol, one that i thought would return to base empty handed with a sad sunked ton record and Ended preaty diferent at the final!
