Default Optical Targeting Correction mod 1.4 problem

Hi,
i am new on this Uber site and this is my first post so if i am not at the correct place to post this message sry....

I have installed OTC mod for 1.4 silent hunter 4, i am using : otc 1.4 metric tools, OTC 1.4 realistic scopes, OTC 1.4 realistic scopes 16 to 9 aspect ratio and Optical targeting corection for 1.4. My screen rez is 1920*1080.

All of this was activited with Generic mod enabler v 1.7.0.80 and i must say it seems to work properly except when i want to zoom in or out with the periscopes, if i enable the scopes rotation (simply clicking the mouse) i can't use the zoom anymore......to be able to use it again i must reclick my mouse to get the cursor active, move the cursor on the order bar or one of the targeting computer dials and then i am able to zoom again.

And i must do that for each scopes rotation....it's not very usefull...any idea guys?

my other active mods are :

1. improved stock environnement 1.3
2. #1 ise new clouds + waves
3. #2 ise realistic color
4. natural sinking mechanics 2.6
5. radio rak 7
6. kollmorgen telemeter lens 8 dgr

Thanx for you help

Welcome to SubSim Feric Jagger!!

The mouse capture within the viewable periscope area not giving you the ability to zoom views is a known problem. Sorry, I can't figure out why, any more than I can tell you why the developers didn't correct its camera scale to give us a correct measurement.

A work around is to use the "Tab" key whenever you wish to zoom your views. Speaking of using the keyboard.....don't forget to print off the OTC "KEYBOARD LAYOUT" and "Reference Card" .jpg images to use as a guide when playing OTC.

By the way, what's "kollmorgen telemeter lens 8 dgr" ?? I'd be careful using someones mod that changes the OTC periscope Telemeter divisions. If it isn't made specific for OTC, the divisions are probably off.

Default Thanx for answering

hi, thanx again for the advice indeed i hadn't the map keys but now i know the magic key and better... i have installed tmo 2.5 + rsrdc tmo 2.502 + otc for rsrdc 2.502 and i must say it's an other world....except that i do not meet a lot of japans for now ( i am in early 1942 if i remember...)...i like the old school songs for killing time onboard beetween two torpedos....

And about the mod you asked for it was a mod to improve the telemeter accuracy if i remember well but i don't need it anymore now....

Good sailing and good hunt.....
