Like him or not, he was no doubt an icon in his business. Bon voyage.

I'm SPARTICUS! leaves Norman Lloyd and Olivia DeHavilland as the last Golden Age stars at age 103...

I enjoyed Kirk Douglas in every movie that he did. He had such a commanding presence.

Rest in Peace.

Very sad. Dad took us to see him in The Vikings when it came out and I was really freaked by Einar's blind eye

That's funny considering how many movie star's and people in the Entertainment industry were going to leave this country if it continued to be a Republic as it was created by our founder's.McCarthy is dead and gone. You have to admit it is amazing how Communist country's have in a shorter time than the USA have become Nuclear and Global powers. In a short time frame given what they were in 1945. They achieved a lot of these leaps in technology without computers or the world wide net. How could this happen . if we didn't.Have Sympathisers and colabratiours. Actor's are water walker's in this country and we have more than i can remember their names .But today its easy to see them for what they are.Rich Socialist who will not share anything of their wealth with the common man. They love the Communist idea So maybe McCarthy wasn't all that wrong.

These actor's and entertainment people stand for nothing if they cant in 1 way or another become a prophet for some cause and drag in some more money. If they put their name on it their getting a tax write off.Kirk Douglas made a few good movies and that's all. His job was to pretend to be anything Hollywood wanted him to be. These people don't know who they really are. and after a while they get lost in their minds and kill their selfs. But they live a damn good life before they get to old or to far out there an finally go over the cliff. End Transmission

RIP Sir!

One of the greats from the classic generation who not only starred in major studio pictures, but also low budget more "artsy" movies like "Lonely are the Brave" or one of my favorites "Seven days in May".
