Talking to my crew

I'm using the Wolves of Steel mod. (Thanks BTW) Do I still need to talk to my crew? I'm not sure if their morale etc is still relevant in the game....

Yes you can and it does increase morale once during your patrol, sonuse it wisely. There are other methods to increase morale as well.

Yes you need to keep an eye on your crew morale as the days past.
Actions include raising and lowering morale depending on what you click on.
The Bosun can raise morale for the whole crew.
Sinking warships should raise morale, merchants will not.

In the last update, i remeber sinking merchants raise morale a little bit
