How to Chnage In-Game date (Not for cheating)

Got home from a patrol, and was damaged, so repair took ~35 days, but I'm switching submarine. Why should I he forced to wait about while they fix my old submarine when I'm just going to immediately switch to another submarine? I could just get in the new submarine and go sink a few thousand tons or something useful while they fix my old sub.

Just want to change the date back 35 days, searched but could not find a quide online, help would be appreciated.

The easiest way is to just use SH3 Commander. One of its many useful functions is to change the Time In Base number to anything you want with the click of a button.
