[REL] Conus' Das Boot Crew Faces

Hello everybody,
after a loooong hiatus I am returning to the Subsim community. I have a lot of catching up to do but I thought that I would try to release a small mod for SH5. If I recall correctly somebody have already done Das Boot faces for the SH5 interface but I thought that I would give it a shot too...

I am not a big fan of the cartoon-ish stock faces .

I have spent countless hours watching and re-watching Das Boot (very tough sacrifice on my part... LOL) to snap the best possible screen caps of crew faces.

I have spent a lot of time in Photoshop, clearing up the images and ballancing colors/contrast/saturation so the icons look somewhat "uniform"....

The mod is designed to work with all UI mods (including TheDarkWraith's UI). Just install afterwards and overwrite files. JSGME ready.

Note: Sticklers to the movies facts
(1) in Das Boot the radioman/sonar operator is the same guy: Heinrich (I choose Schwalle as radioman so I would not have to repeat same face twice)
(2) there is really not a "designated" "Torpedo Guy" (the SH5 description still rags on me) so I choose Ario because I like the character and he is seen in the scene reloading torpedoes (even though he is, I think, part of the diesel crew)
(3) There is no "gunner" position in u-boat crew (I believe that the position was covered by either 1WO or 2WO) so I choose Ullmann (mostly because, again, I like his character and also he was one of the petty officers in the movie)

Only one thing i can think of:
I kind of liked the way icons were changing when wounded...straps and bandages...instead of red icons blinking...not possible?

I think it's a small Conus'es mistake.. it will/should work with any UI-style of NewUIs

I was thinking about it but decided against it: the reason being is that the SH5 has really "cartoonish" feel to it and the bandaged heads just don't feel right to me (I mean absolutely no offense to the original creator of that mod, it's just not my cup of tea...) On the other hand I will be following the new Naights UI. Now THAT has definitely "WWII feel" to it.

You are right. It should read "would work ALSO with TDW interface".
