First,
grab S3D and play with it a bit to learn how to export and import 3D Models and textures. Second, you need a 3D modeling program. Lots of choices out there. You need to Scale and position many 3D objects to work for importing with S3D. Mostly it's just following the build of any Stock Unit. |

Wings3D and Blender are used by many people. They are Free also. Big plus.
I use 3ds Max myself. Not Free. There's alot of other stuff also if one looks around. Whatever you choose, it has to work with the obj format. |
