Sanctuary offers to feed your ex's 'heart' to wildcats for Valentine's Day

Quote:
SCOTTS MILLS, Ore. — An animal sanctuary is offering to feed your ex-partner's "heart" to wildcat for Valentine's Day.

A $50 donation to WildCat Ridge Sanctuary in Scotts Mills, Oregon will ensure you get your wish.

The sanctuary will create meat and gelatin ‘heart’ and put any name on it that you want. That mold will be fed to a wildcat.

Video proof of the feeding will be sent to those who donate.

You have to sign up before Feb. 10, otherwise, it will be $75 after that. If you order before noon PST on Feb. 13 you can ensure delivery by Valentine's Day.

"It’s a fun, tongue-in-cheek way to raise funds for the wildcats and get a bit of satisfaction! So sign up today, for this fun, unique way to say phooey on V-Day and Hurray to WCR’s Anti-Valentine’s Day!" said the sanctuary.

^ I was thinking that too.

I would go broke fast if I indulged in this " feeding."

Then again, the Sanctuary may be confused when a number of women I knew and dated request a cake with my name on it to feed to the wildcats.

Need a way to get back at your ex this Valentine’s Day? Look no further than the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

From now until Feb. 12, donors can pay $15 to name a superworm after their ex, or anyone who’s been bugging them. Randhir and Heiderose, the zoo’s resident Sloth bears, will devour and slurp the worms through an enrichment tube. As a gift, donors will receive a 30-45-second personalized video featuring the bears' snack time.

“Not only will you get a good laugh, but you’ll also be supporting world-class animal care and vital conservation efforts,” the Zoo wrote on its website. “That’s a win for you, the sloth bears and the planet!”
