Default What a Game!

Just want to say I am fairly new here, but decided to jump right in and have a go with the vanilla SH3 and even the normal game is class.

I am on my 3rd patrol in 1939 and decided to go straight in and lurk off Dover, just having a breather having survived a depth charge run.

The patrols are boring but once you see a ship you have to go for it I reckon.

Can't wait to see what it's like with all these mods and things added.

I did spend some time (not long..really...no really, it was like a day or two) on HMS Trenchant as a potential officer (stress the word - potenti) so will want to go ballsy and do manual tracking and targeting but that is a long way off yet!

deffo satisfying though when you manage to get something in your sights!

Boom!

I'm glad you're having such a good time. When you're ready to add a supermod and SH3 Commander be sure to ask all the questions you want. If we don't have the answers...

We'll make 'em up!

Hey thanks that's great! Thanks for the replies! 'Tis a great site this. The mods of Silent Hunter 3 seem amazing and plentiful.

I am steadily working my way through all the threads so I can make head and tail of it all.

I have the steam version but I have also bought one off amazon so I can do the multipcopy thing and mod till the cows come home.

Ciao
