Default Are you looking forward to summer?

We are in the NORTHERN hemisphere, in case you were wondering. Had to put the central heating back on this morning.

I blame the SNP.

High of 82/28 where I'm at. Cool and rainy the last few days, but nice and warm now.

28 degrees! ...and centigrade too. You bounders.

At least the forecast for this week is now in double figures (in daytime): 13 Wednesday, 15 on Thursday. Delicious.

At least the pehs an' bridies are hot....

I don't mind about the temperature or weather, but when the schools kick out for summer (or any holiday) my commute is about 15-20% quicker.

Some dam fool in the met office said last Sunday the UK is in for a heat wave and the south will hit 88f, now the forecast is down to 73f and no heatwave. This is the 3rd time these met office buffoons have got it wrong in the last two months.

Take my advice your better off sticking your head out the window.

It has been staying around 20 - 22°C here, which I find just about right.

I am not looking forward to summer. Hot and humid. We are supposed to maintain a professional dress at work but I am lucky if the temperature in my office gets below 75.

Summers in the DC area suck.

Nope, not looking forward to it.
More work, more heat and less time.

That will be cricket weather then

Pity we'll probably get thrashed in the Ashes again
