OH NO!!!

A chance of a life time..I have a Carrier and a Battleship in range and my sub in what I would call textbook position and have the option of taking out one or the other. But as always something has to go wrong. When I use the space bar to lock on the enemy I get a yellow triangle and I can`t identify the ship? So my question is WHY THE DAMN YELLOW TRIANGLE that ruined my entire evening

. Also should I take out the Carrier or the Battleship ? I only have 4 torpedoes so I can`t torpedo both.
