16:9 / 1920x1080 possible?

I recently got a new screen and wanted to continue playing SH3 on it. But, surprise, its not working:

-d3d9-fix and dx9res10 crash the game at startup with fatal error in d3d9.dll.

-trying to run the game without any highres-fix brings up the message "could not inizialize 3d-engine"

If I try to switch my desktop oer to 1280x1024 via nvidia driver settings, the desktop is streched regardless of the option "no scaling".

I am using a GTX560 1GB

anyone got that working? thanks in advance....
