After I tweaked the game (editing the main.cfg and d3d9.cfg), and after applying the high res fix for 1.4b, the nav map has blurry markings along the egde, grid letters are sort of smeared out and the stadimeter line is sometimes, sometimes not, 2 pixels wide. Thing is, now I can't seem to get the crisp markings back, even after uninstalling the high res fix and going back to lower res, the smearing is still there.
Gr. card is a Geforce GT 220 and the drivers were updated not too long ago. I am hoping for a fix and after seeing the game at ludicrous x insane res (1600x1200), I am reluctant to go back. Finally I was able to tell if the target at 5,000 metres had one or two chimneys and no longer did I have to get closer than 1000 metres in broad daylight to identify the nationality. The game looks gorgeous and blurry nav map edges are tradable but if anyone know how to get to have both insane res and a crisp map, I'd be very very grateful. |

Same here, I run the game at 1280x1024 and get the smudged grid letters etc. As far as I'm aware there is no cure.
