I don't think so. I run GWX on Win 7-64 in wide screen.

Windowed or full screen? And by does not fit , do you mean you have blak bars , or the game screen is bigger than your screen?

Well, fully strechted to all sides would mean your periscope view get's squashed. Or you think targets (and crew ) are fatter than they are. I don't think guessing AOB is going to work as well with that either. If you get black bands on the right and left then I think it is normal, and good. As the game user interface is built for 4:3 aspect ratio, or 1024x768. There is a widescreen resolution mod, but it doesn't fix the mods that are not using the extra space.

My videocard chips/driver stretches the resolution to fit the height of my screen (1920x1080) Leaving the black bars on the side. That's the best you can have without distortions.

It's the same on my laptop and I'm pretty happy with it's black bars. Actually I don't mind my periscope being oval but stretched view is also less sharp and not really more spacious.
And IO definitely prefer to give up widescreen resolution and use the MaGUI mod (although you may prefer some other GUI) than losing a better GUI just for more pixels.
