Silent Hunter 5 stopped working'

For kicks I decided to install this game on my newly built computer.

To see if I can get back into it (maybe with the mods?)

Either way..

installed the game

Opened it up it asked to update, it updated to 1.2

Double click shortcut and "Silent hunter V has stopped working"

ahhhhhh ok ??

Whats going on here?

Installed it from a DVD

Computer

I5
6780 VID
running on 120SSD drive, win7 64

Browse the dvd Support\VCRedist\vcredistx86\repair
If that doesnt fix it then run the DX in Support as well .

No luck..

I did both and still get the same stupid message..

It's as if I'm not signed in or something, I don't know..
