I have my Particles Density and Terrain Objects Density max out on my game, what does everyone else have theirs set at? Will turning those down give me some added frame rates?

It might. If you are near land then you're framerate might drop if your PC can't handle all the rendered objects. It also may drop when something goes boom (particle density). Just depends on your graphics card. Turning them down can only help the framerate.

Particles are particularly intensive in SH5, I drop the slider one notch currently. Terrain Objects will of course only help increase framerate in port or around coastal areas with terrain to render.
Do you use antilag? |

My shadows are mid-range. antialising is 4x and everything else is on. I use vsync in all my games, if I don't I tend to get motion sickness easy. Some games get me that way, especially if its FPS with a strange field of view setting or any game that has vsync disabled. So I am stuck with vsync. |
