The bar was quiet

"After a way too long patrol in the hostile waters I was back in the city. Since midnight it had been raining cat's and dogs, now it was just raining. As I felt myself pretty weary I decided to find my way to Neal's Bar in the-other-side-of-the-wrong-side-of-the-river. But that was a mistake. The bar was quiet. Too quiet."

So, with that poor chandler/dick spanner imitation I just wanna say: HELLO, EVERYONE, AND MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

And also ask, what a heck is going on here? It's December and we are running silent? Nothing new from the simulation front, nothing at all?!? I really hope the situation is not that bad than it looks like. Quiet, quiet, quiet...?
