Help with a CTD

Hello everyone,

I've been having trouble with this for a while and I'm hoping someone can lend me a hand with this. I've been absolutely plagued with CTDs when I attempt to approach any enemy controlled harbor.

It all started when I was playing with TMO 2.0 and got a mission to recon several Japanese carriers just outside of one of the harbors (sorry can't remember which). I can get into the harbor, maneuver around a while, go wherever I want until I want to see where I'm going. Trying to use the external camera CTDs, just going to the periscope station CTDs, I don't even get the chance to raise the scope which makes the recon mission impossible. I had a save game far outside the harbor and tried to reload but same thing happens again and again. Restarting the program didn't help either. However at the time I simply shrugged it off and went about my business.

Now after playing TMO for a while I decided to switch over to RFB + RSRDC which I'm currently playing. After completing a few missions I decided to go see what enemy harbors are like with these modifications and set off to do so. Once again I maneuvered my boat into the harbor and as soon as I went to the periscope station, you guessed it, CTD. Same deal as before. Every time without fail as soon as I attempt to see anything external to my submarine, CTD.

I read all the time here about people trying harbor raids and darn it I want to try too, even if it only results in my eventual destruction. Can anyone suggest a fix?
