Everytime I try to use the mission editor for GWX the map gets all buggy and when I make it without GWX it crashes when I try to load it! Can someone help me with this?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Captain J. Borne,

I know I am not the best person to help you, but some time ago I did transformed, adapt a special mission for GWX. The mission was called "Secret Mission" and you had to play it with the use of Enigma machine, which sent you all orders and infos. What I did exactly was to modify some events Timle and date cause they where makin,g the mission almost impossible and I also translated all the orders and messages into French.

I have kept both version And the original one of this missions and I think you could use it to see how to work on it.
Just an idea, and if you wishs just PM me your thought and email addy and I'll send you all the versions I have for you to work on!

Amicalement

I just want to know if there is a fix or another program I can use to make my own missions for GWX, it does not work when I try using the original ME or the one in the GWX folder

Are you using the Res Fix or some other mod/edit to change the resolution of the game when you play it? Because that can cause issues with Mission Editor.

If you're using the Res Fix, rename the d3d9.dll file in your game folder to something else before opening ME, that will temporarily disable the resolution change. Just remember to rename it back to d3d9.dll before loading the game again.

If you're using some other mod/edit to change the game's resolution, you can try temporarily disabling or removing it and see if that does the trick.

You do know that if you create a 'Mod' for the d3d9.dll you can use JSGME to enable, disable it, right?

Here's how to do it:
Create a folder in the MODS folder called 'Mission Res'
or what ever you want to call it.
Place the Stock d3d9.dll in it.
DO NOT CREATE A SUB FOLDER!
Now you can swap the d3d9.dll anytime you want at the
click of a button.

Awesome idea. Especially for folks who want to get into the ME on a regular basis.
