Default The best fishing boat ever!

Next time on 'The Deadest Catch'...

Yes that's a fishing boat!

Note the .50 cal on the bow, the 8 122mm rockets on the bridge, and the ZU-23 flak gun on the stern.

Its a patrol boat used by the Abkhazian Navy. Who also built this gem...

Yep those are rocket launchers off an aircraft with a .50 cal tacked on. I hope that .50 is remote operated otherwise its gunner is in trouble the moment they fire those rockets...

The Abkhazian patrol boat is heavily armed compared to ours

They even bothered to name this.......boat...meet KRI Welang

Well they probably do just fine catching foreign fishing boats but to meet another country's navy vessel in this its like saying SHOOT ME, SHOOT ME, NO ME, ME!

If only they put some SSM missiles on it then we're talking

At least you got patrol boats. Most of ours are all laid up or scrapped because the hulls were cracking.

Yours is still more heavily armed that what we got left...

Only that yours belong to the coast guard and mine to the country's navy

There's a story told by an official that a foreign weapon system seller once joked why we bought so few . . . .and asked if they were meant for rebels or state. LOL. A country with more than 200 million people and among the top 20 of the highest GDP can't afford as many planes and other sophisticated weapon systems as say Malaysia, a country of mere 20 million people....less than twice the people living in Indonesia's capital (Jakarta) alone.

You've got it all wrong, those pictures are a preview of the Royal Navy's new "compact" Destroyers

Unlike in some other countries the Coast Guard is a branch of the US Military, but its just not part of the US Navy.

There was a time not long ago where our Cutters were as well armed as some destroyers.
