Hello,
I'm just going to get to the point of me creating this thread, alright, Well I've seen the configuration text file in the data folder of Silent Hunter 5, I've edited it with the intentions of making the U boat faster however this didn't seem to work. There is a mod currently published which makes the u boat go a lot faster, but I want to change that a bit. I'm not entirely sure how. I wanted to know exactly what steps I needed to take in order to make the U boat go faster. Would this be extremely difficult? Would it be easy? Please help me with this. Thanks, Logan |

Which file would I need to edit to modify the strength of the torpedoes?
The above mods are a bit over the top. I wouldn't mind a bit more speed for the sub, and a faster firing rate for deck guns, but it's not that important. A successful one torpedo attack however I'd be in favor of ![]() |

![]() <groan> It needs a hex editor which I have but have no clue how to use. I understand the Goblin editor will work for this, unfortunately that's above my pay grade too ![]() Thanx anyway ![]() Last edited by Alky; 06-05-11 at 12:00 PM. |
