I swear, this always seems to happen to me. I'll be out on patrol for 3 - 4 weeks, and almost every radio contact I get is 200km or better away. And the ones that are within reasonable intercept distance winds up being neutrals or schooners.
But let me finally head on home for the four 'R's (resupply, refit, rest and relaxation), completely dry of torpedoes, my crew and I tired and cranky, exhausted and drained, moldy and mildewy, and this happens: ![]() I think my boat's patron is Loki. ![]() |
