Am in mid 1940 and trying to find the in game req manual but i cant.which way that comes on screen?

Once you lock and identify a target it'll appear. Just click on the underlined name of the type of ship with the manual TDC.

Sorry man Im not to sure i have the collectors edition which comes with a hard copy recognition manual. flicking through the manual i see no mention on where it is, however to tell you the truth I confirm targets by using external view and looking for the country flag on my target.

You can also do a Key binding in the Commands.cfg so you can ask your Weapons Officer to Identify the target when you have the target locked. I use "I" for this.
