Well, i'd just like some sort of mod that shows ALL ships and airplanes on the map at all time, just as a "fun thing" to see exactly whats going on in the campaign.
Do the other nations truly attack eachother, or are they just moving from preset waypoint to preset waypoint, in a fancy version of pong? I apologize if it is common knowledge and/or if its like in SH3 or 4, i never played those games very much :/ |

It's a combination of set general traffic flows along programmed routes, as well as scripted events where specific ships play out historical events, and reactionary spawns to your presence/air-craft alerts, etc.

There was a spysat mod for SH3 which showed pretty much all traffic all the time
Could probably be done in SH5 though may take longer as so many diff elements to the campaign files Pick a mis file from a project folder Total Germany in this instance Silent Hunter 5\data\Campaigns\CampaignProjects\Total_Germany Open any mis file in notepad Will use convoy The bits you are looking for are ReportPosTime=3606 < these figures differ for each convoy entry ReportPosProbability=60 < these figures differ for each convoy entry Change to ReportPosTime=5 < will update map position every 5 minutes ReportPosProbability=100 < will provide an update 100% of the time Change them all and save Then repeat for Taskforces\Traffic \Uboats and Wolfpacks Then you will need to do the same to every other project folder ![]() And other nations will attack each other only if in render range Outside of that they are just computations |
