I decide to test the Stock AI on Scapa flow,well long story short i sneak in with time compression,found a task force,sunk two battleships while i was ignore by the escorts surrounding me,to get out i hit time compression again.AWESOME,i bough this game because i was a huge SH3 fan and unless another developer tackle this genre this is my last silent hunter game,still i feel i did not wasted my money because i know the moders are the ones who going to fix this game.Developers next time and i said this with all do respect try to improve your game over the previous one,pretty grafics alone don't make a good game and for the next patch if you can give us a TDC (the german one from SH4 will do) that would be nice.

My next mission is Scapa. I'm excited to see that the east inlet appears to be open, unlike SH3
![]() I have been sunk several times by escorts, but I will compare my Scapa experience with yours, maybe there's a problem with specific AI situations.

My first trip to Scapa to sink the HMS Malaya was similar. Went deep inside the bay, all the way to the port where the Malaya was. Was able to fire 5 torpedos in peace and watch the ship sink, not one DD came to see what was happening.

Aye they are not quite right
Sat surfaced in the Atlantic shelling a freighter when I see a shell go whistling past Blind watch crew and all So I back of the DG Up the ladder to the CT Down on the control room and hit P on way Has a look on Nav map and see 5 DDs steaming in around 6KM away Anyway I went 70m and silent They ran over my position at about 20 odd knots One dropped some DCs and they all sailed away into the sunset without breaking formation or anything lmao Leaving me to surface and finish off the freighter Not got to Scapa yet but if they are anything like the British patrols in Bergen - yes Bergen Oct 39 - then should be a breeze |

Is it me or is scapa in shv a bit too flat?
I'm pretty sure the orkneys have more hills like in sh3 |

Yep it does make a difference Ducimus,it makes the game more fun,Thank you for that. i just can't believe after all the complains SH4 got for the dumb AI the release this one with the same problem.

1st and only time i went to scapa, i had 4 destroyers after me so i just stopped a few hundred meters from the docks. i used time compression and to my surprise, 3 of the 4 destroyers hit the ground like morons and sank, while the 4th just stood there waiting to get torped (which i did)

Lets talk about stupid AI......can I be attacked by air?...I had many many airplane that just fly over me and never attack. I have never been attacked by air. And I have only got attacked by DD one time.. the only hard thing in this game right now..is to get the dam torpedos right.
