Hi All,
Been a long term fan of the Silent Hunter series, SH3 is great, SH4 not so and SH5 is growing on me at the moment (still undecided on its long term future). I have a slight confusion though over the campaign in SH5, I currently have 3 different missions on the go (sink 100,000 near the west of the UK, 50,000 in the east and now blockade of Germany). The questions I have are the following: 1) I have destroyed the 50,000 tonnes in the east and I think I got the mission complete but it still shows on the map, is this normal? 2) Is it worth sinking merchant ships you come across, as it do they add anything to the war effort or do they just count as extra tonnage? It goes against my silent hunter instinct to leave them but obviously the use up valuable torps and trying to sink 100,000 tonnes is not a small task! Thanks in advance |

As with many things in SH5 she needs to go to dry dock for a good maintenance period, its a common problem and many things need fixing mate.
