Default Do you like Silent Hunter 5 ?

Did you enjoy this game or your expetations just were torpedoed in the bottom of the sea?

Me myself: I've really havent bought the game yet, and im afraid to do so, i dont have lots of money to waste on games and i dont like to be dissapointed. After this poll is over, i will

Next time choose your words more carefully.

Personally, I would base my judgment off of a good review of the game instead of a yes or no poll. Everybody has their own opinions of the game, the "no" vote may win out and you buy the game to find out you don't like it. Read a few good reviews and you can generally decide for yourself if it's worth the trouble or not.

So you haven't even bought the game and you use the term "sucks" in the title of your post? What was your expectation of what kind of conversation would follow a question like that?

Perhaps before you post any further you might spend a few minutes reading the posting FAQ. Especially the part where it says...

"We do not want SUBSIM Review and the Radio Room forums to degenerate into a collection of *This game sux!!!!* and other immature rants. Like something or dislike something about a game, express your thoughts in reasoned and responsible terms. There are any number of forums which allow unbridled idiocy to reign, we want the Radio Room to be a civil, mature forum for discussions..."

I haven't played it and I don't intend to under these current circumstances.

I made that decision when I heard the sim would only go to '43. That's all it took for me to pass this by, I'm afraid. The other things that came out afterward, well, those only reinforced my decision.

The title could have been better, but the general point being conveyed is quite clear. I have not bought the game, nor do I intend to until something is done about both OSP and overall content.

Frankly, this game belongs in a bargain bin, if and when they start selling it as such, I may be tempted to buy it.

Im sorry if i offended someone by making this thread. I've read some really good reviews and toughts about this game and i've seen more people disliking the game than liking it. So i tought i will just ask this straightforward question "Does it suck".

Actually i agree that this thread i just made actually sucks, im sorry. Please somebody delete this and then post a new poll. "Do you like SH5" or smth.

Oh, they're not offended, they're just being superior. Don't worry about it, they'll calm down in a little while.

I don't see how you can justify making such a statement, especially if it's made in reference to JC acting in his role as a moderator.

The FAQ are there for everyone in this community to see/read and as such there is an expectation that said community will abide by its content.

Should this not be the case then I envisage it wouldn't take long for this forum to deteriorate to a level 'enjoyed' by so many other...less successful forums.
