Why not take this as another measure of what the dear leader is all about? The catholic church is made up of its members, like GM is made up of its employees (UAW).

Both have a right to speak but only one takes money from the government. Which would you trust?

Too bad it's only available for a short period of time and there is no manuscript. If I ever had a moment of doubt, I could use it as a reminder why to me separation of church and state is absolutely mandatory.

No the fanatics are, the christians would have a lot more of my respect if they shot anybody of their faith who tried to convert another person.

Personally, I think religion has little to do with the mental capacity of people. Most religious people I know can easily dilleneate between "faith" and proven facts.

To me the fact is that people who make such generalizations are pretty dumb. And worse: bigoted.

Time to inhale some fresh air of reason.

Quote:
Believing in a false god can be quite therapeutic in a way like say artificial daylight can help with the winter blues... But personal faith and public religion are two completely different things. When religion goes public, it stops being spiritual and becomes political, usually running on the moral hypocracy ticket.
