Default Harrier Assault - Instant Action FlightSim

We work on a little FlightSim with a instant action mode.
The game is called harrier assault and plays at the island of ullung do.
- Troops from northern korea have occupied the island.
You are a pilot of a harrier jump jet and fight back the attack -

Thats all.

The game is very small for download (2MB). If you like it we were pleased to hear from you (and than we will continue to develop it ).

Hehe, tried the demo. Looking good. Love the feel of it, kinda reminds me of Carrier. Good luck and hopefully you get it finished ASAP.

Tested too, it looks way cool
Landing was a different story though

A few questions:
-I found the key to switch between Missiles and Guns, but I could only fire with the Guns, no missiles?
-It would be sweet to be able to do barrel rolls instead of having "locked" turns, or is it that way by design?

Can you give us more technical info on the game? I see on the website that you're two working on it, also I see that you mention Blitz Basic, isn't "Basic" for 2D games? And how much time did it take you to reach this state of the game?

Blitz3D is pretty much Blitz Basic with a 3d engine.

I try to answer.
With the E key you can toggle between the weapons. Actually there is only the canon in function.
The stearing is not finished jet. It is very difficult to hit something. We are working on it.
Yes we use Blitz3D. All models were made with Milkshape. Also the Animation of the landing gear.
We need 3 Weeks to finish the demo.

Greetings
Sung

Hi Sung, thanks for the reply. Only 3 weeks is impressive, though I see from the indie subsim forum that you have quite some experience with game making already.

Someday I'd like to start this kind of project, probably a loose remake of an old DOS game. It's a logical step I think after modding, lots more to learn and more liberty

Good luck with the rest of the work, it looks nice so far, love the graphic style.

I'm not the programer of the game. That is Nicdel my mate from MilSim. I'm make only the visuals

If someone uses Linux we had also a running version under "wine".

greetings
