Default question regarding "nights"

After playing SHIV, I noticed that the nights are much brighter than SHIII. I remember Real U boats mod that made night really black. Almost could not see more than a few thousand yards. With new system, even at midnight, nights are more bright and blotchy. Not sure if its my video card or system though.

Can this be edited?

thanks

Moon definetely makes the night brighter; a peekaboo night in RE5 is made by cutting off star and moonlight and adding a light fog. (Are you using Real Environment?) Also, try adjusting the gamma displays in Options. That's all I can really give, it might be your video card otherwise, I never saw any problems in mine.

When there is a moon,it can be bright, but otherwise it looks fine to me. I've had plenty of very dark nights.
