Missing gun crew

For some reason, when I went to start my second patrol, my gun crew disappeared from the crew management screen. There's a space for the forward gun deck, a space for the aft gun deck, but no holes for crew portraits.

It started when I upgraded from a 3.50 stern mount to a 4.50 bow mount. The sub on top of the screw still shows a stern mount.

Out on patrol, the gun's there, it works, but slowly as heck, as if there wasn't any crew assigned to it (And AFAIK, there isn't any)

Any idea how to fix this? It's sort of annoying, since I love my deck gun.

I'm using stock 1.4 - Althought I did go and edit the conning towers availabillity dates.
