Default Convoy attack question

I play 1.4 stock and I try to ID as many ships as I can prior to attack. I have noted that the ships that you have classed reflect as such on the plotting board as to their type.

My question is in attacking several targets does the stad adjust for the mast height of a different ship when you switch over if it has been already classed? It reflects the type ship on the board but I have missed a couple of times and wonder if I need to re-enter ship type everytime anyway. I don't think it adjusts the stad it's self, but am not sure.

I use manual targeting, of course.

You have to re identify each ship because as you identify a ship clicking on the check mark sends that ships data to the steadometer\TDC

So for every ship you must find it in the book and check off on it to send that ships data.

I think I have to contradict Freiwillige here. As long as your identificatons are correct, the correct mast height should be used automatically. Also there can be more reasons to missing than the mast height.
