S-boat commander snaps, Takes 5 escorts down with him!

It was my first and last mission. Just north of the main Phillipines port I stumbled onto a large convoy, No invasion fleet! So I snuck within shooting range. And just as I was about to fire off my torp at a fat juicy cruiser an escort detected me and all ships started to zig zag. I fired off all four that missed and in frustration ordered emergancy surface!

Once on top I zigged and zagged manning the deck gun myself pumping shells into every destroyer and escort I could find (Which were surrounding me from all sides!)

One after another they blew to peices before the might of this outdated U.S. Submarines cannon.

Damage controll was doing its best to hold everything together as we hammered away at anything willing to close with us. Finally the Japanese gunners began to find their mark with there 3" and 5" guns.

It was a losing fight but as long as our deck was above water we gave as good as we got and then some!

Finall tally, 1 destroyer and four smaller escorts destroyed for the loss of one brave American S-boat!
