Default Echo Sounder

Quick question,

When you request the depth of water from the navigator and he uses the depth sounder will this give your position away to nearby ships as he is transmitting sonar emissions through the uboat to the sea bed???

As grossly unrealistic as that is, the gramaphone does not affect your noise level. One less thing to worry about, I guess

I believe in the GWX AI thread it states they can.

In any case, definitely one of the most useful equipments installed on U-boats.
