In Jane's 688(I) Hunter/Killer Spiral-Bound User's Manual page 236,
there are some words that I have no idea about them. What do F/S , AA , PA stand for? I have a snapshot. Thanks a lot. ![]() ![]() |

In my opinion:
F/S: F-- I don't Know! ![]() S stands for "status" AA: first A stands for "Atlantic" second A-- I don't know! ![]() PA: P stands for "Pacific" A-- I still don't know! ![]() I am not sure if these answers are correct or not, it's just my opinion.╮(﹀_﹀")╭ |

Has entries for all the US carriers (towards the bottom) amongst other vessels worldwide.. Only the large navy US has the F/S tag, and it can have the following values (at least) AA PA Bldg SLEP SLEP/AA Which suggests F/S stands for Fleet Status or similar - Fleet Service?. AA ~ Atlantic Area (ie east coast) PA ~ Pacific Area (ie west coast) Bldg = Under construction. SLEP = Service Life Enhancement Programme Last edited by Lieste; 11-28-08 at 06:41 PM. |
