Vista 64 bit

Just wondering if any of you guys are running SH3 using Vista 64 bit. If so was there any problems with it.

While I have Vista 64, I run SH-3 GWX 2.1 on XP Pro sp2.

Why ask for trouble. :p :rotfl:

I'm sure other members have no trouble tho.

The engine sound dissapear when i pause and resume the game but if i change speed the sound gets back, thats only problem i have with sh3 on Windows vista ultimate 64.

Same thing here with Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Engine sounds vanish if I pause & resume the game so I have to change speed to hear the engine sound again. Oddly enough it only happens if I'm on the bridge: I can hear the engines after I pause while in external camera view.:hmm:

I've some difficulties. I' can't launch the game because SH3 seem's not to know this plateforme. I've had the same probleme under XP64:

This program work under Windows 95, ...,Win XP or Server 2003.

Some Idea?

I also can not get Sh-3 to run with vista 64 bit. If any one has any ideas I would be grateful

have starforce-free sh3 and it runs perfect with vista 64 bit ultimate. better than with xp32. even the resolution-patch does its work.

better means: no framerate-stuttering during convoy-attack at night with many search-lights on..........

Even with a starforce-free sh3, I can't run it. The game crashs just at the end of the loading, before the game menu. When I look at the memory, it seems that the program never stop to fill it, even while Vista is trying to determinate the origin of the problem.

When I look at my error log, it seems the problem occure because the window manager (gestionaire de fenêtrage in French) can't be started because of an other program. (event 9013)
the error number for SH3 seems to be 1000.

If I've a solution, I'll give it to you, but if someone have an idea, he is welcome.
