...turning on the FPS indicator?

 The GeForce 6800 would spank the Radeon 9600 any day of the week!  What's that? nVidia has a 9600 card now? It has nothing to do with those old ATI cards, does it? Oh. Ahem! Nevermind.

It is either Shift+F8 or Ctrl+F8
(I forget which... when I'm in-game... most of the key commands are muscle memory for me... out of game, it is like trying to remember your own phone number. )
