Default 3 U-Boats found in the Black Sea!

This is fascinating. I think we need an add on pack for this!

The Black Sea 30th flotilla is already represented in GWX. Going by past postings quite a few here have already taken some of Stalin's ships to the bottom.

I wonder if they will ever raise one. As far as I know, we do not have an example of a surviving type II anywhere to visit. Although I have seen a picture of one that looks life-like, so I could be mistaken. What are the odds they will raise one of the shallower ones?

The Finns have one on display. The Finnish WW2 submarine Vesikko was basically a Type II prototype. You can even go aboard.

That's okay. The Black Sea submarine campaign is one of naval history's more obscure episodes. Kinda ranks up there with installing rockets on U-Boats. I'm still waiting for that mod.

By the way the 30th flotilla experimented with those..

Yeah, I'd love to see rockets on my Type II when in the BS. Maybe one day.

When you pull into port, dont lull yourself into a false sense of security, your mines and subnets are just a petty challenge for my crew and I.

Yeah....the Germans were the first to experiment with underwater launches too. I believe it was called 'Ursel". The range was pretty limited tho.
